Taking Care of Your Leather |
Taking care of your leather product is very important. With the correct care, cleaning and storage, any top quality leather item will withstand both time and wear and you will be able to enjoy it for many years to come.
VERY IMPORTANT
IMPERFECTIONS
It is not always possible to eliminate small imperfections such as speckles or slight variations in colour and veinings, neither with the most careful choice of skins nor with the best tanning techniques: such features should not therefore be considered as flaws but evident signs that real leather has been employed.
LIGHT EXPOSURE
Please remember that leather garments should not be exposed to strong lights for long periods since this could cause variations in colour. It cannot be therefore guaranteed that under such conditions colours will stay fast no matter how good the tanning process might have been. Moreover no responsibility can be undertaken by the manufacturer for damages caused by mishandling through improper cleaning and/or washing processes.
WATER
Raindrops can cause spots to appear on garments: such spots can be easily removed by rubbing the skin surface on itself or wiping it with a cloth once the garment is completely dry (remember not to dry close to a source of heat); please note that this natural phenomenon cannot be used as grounds for possible complaints. Also remember that though our garments are resistant to water spots they are not waterproof, therfore it is not advisable to use them as raincoats. |
